There are many people in developing regions who are hard working and in need of basic education and independence in any sectors such as education, agriculture, etc. They are shortages of skills in those communities but they have the capabilities to learn from one another also teach one another. Some individuals are not aware of the skills like farming which can be gained if taught in their own language. This is where a project like Lifeline Energy comes in the spotlight, who are working with sponsors and other NGOs to help those in developing regions.
Lifeline Energy provides education to those communities’ individuals by using a device called Lifeplayer which is solar powered radios/media player. If the radio is tuned to a frequency, a group of eager learners will be able listen and follow what the educator is teaching. These Lifeplayers are also preloaded with lectures which can be browsed through using buttons provided and listened to accordingly.
