NetLab: This laboratory represent a "real world" network environment that gives our students an opportunity to learn how to install and configure networking devices, and to work in the field of network architectures and security. The laboratory contains 20 PCs connected to the campus network and the Internet. The Cisco Academy router kit that creates a multiple WAN/LAN environments provides an additional teaching and experimental topology. The additional research equipment include the state of the art routers, switches, and other networking devices. The 2.5 Gbps switching engine provides switching fabric for ATM, Fast Ethernet, and Ethernet networks that are used in this laboratory.
